Junior NTR married Lakshmi Pranati, daughter of Telugu channel owner Narna Srinivas, in 2011. At the time when both were engaged, Pranati was just 17 years old. After the news of marriage, Vijayawada’s lawyer Singuluri Shanti Prasad filed a complaint against the actor under the Child Marriage Act. To avoid controversy, the actor waited for Pranati to complete 18 years and married her on 5 May 2011. They both have two sons.
