Once you cross the border you should be getting new I-94

But a while back saw a vlog that the CBP officer declined to update and asked to the use the old one... this happened at Mexico- Texas border crossing... Saw this one case in a youtube vlog a while ago...

You won't get new 94 if you cross border by land for b2. Existing one ee untadi

By flight you should. Usually ppl go to bahamas or jamaica islands and come back.  But best option is to apply for extension ga
