Meher Ramesh is a highly infamous director in Tollywood, which is why it came as a major surprise that Megastar Chiranjeevi agreed to do a film with him.

It wouldn’t be an understatement to say that fans and audiences are the least bit excited to see Bhola Shankar, the remake of Vedalam, directed by Meher Ramesh, because it is directed by him. However, if the recently released Acharya is anything to go by, then Bhola Shankar might be something to look forward to.

 

Koratala Siva is a director who hasn’t tasted failure, until now. Acharya is the only flop movie he has delivered in his career so far. Given that a hit director gave a flop and mostly forgettable film, it could be safe to say that fans might get what they want from Bhola Shankar.

Fans and audiences regularly troll Meher Ramesh, but who knows, it might be Meher Ramesh’s Bhola Shankar that would deliver fans everything they want from a film starring Megastar Chiranjeevi.

Meher Ramesh has always done quite well with remakes, with Prabhas’s Billa being his best work to date, as the film is a remake of the Tamil film of the same name.

Given that Bhola Shankar is also a remake, and that it is a safe subject, it is safe to say that Meher Ramesh might surprise everyone by delivering a good hit.
