hyperbole Posted May 14, 2022 Report Posted May 14, 2022 Apart from Tesla they are the only ones who have everything inhouse to produce batteries at scale. Ford is breaking ground for new giga factories this year which means 3-5 years away. Getting < $100 for 1 kwh battery is an important step as that will drive down the battery costs significantly, a 70 kwh battery like a tesla m3/y would cost < $7000 essentially will bring down manufacturing costs of ev to ICE levels. long gm stock, easy $100 by 2024, they are trading at 3x profits( $50 billion market cap with $14 billion profits/year) 1 Quote

Cruise(autonomous driving and robo taxi) which gm owns is valued at $50 billion by itself. Cruise might replace uber or compete with in few years, check their driveless taxi videos Fisker sept/oct lo vehicle as per plan release ayite stock will hit $30 . That is the only play I am hedging at the moment. Sold all lcid($48) and rivn ($92). 1 Quote
veerigadu Posted May 14, 2022 Report Posted May 14, 2022 Ultium Is far better in ferformance than lithium ion batteries used by Tesla. Ultium is also lithium-based anukunta. But they are designed in different way to retain more power. It’s all about modulation and architecture of metals As I said EV era is still in the beginning stages. Many more advanced batteries will come up in future Quote
