Identity Theft: New investment acc was created and ACAT transferred

Yes, my SSN is compromised. Without SSn you can't open a trading account. I'm suspecting it could be from tax filer. I even got a letter from IRS somebody claimed taxes. This year I had to do paper filing.

E-trade vadu kuda nee address validate cheyyali kada? They must send in mail communication both Ally and etrade

your communications preferences opted under both Ally and etrade. Statements, email exchanges, voice recordings etc. if they haven’t notified you then clearly it is their mistake, I understand eteade but Ally should be clearly notifying  you
 

Also always opt for 2 factor authentication for any financial product just to safeguard your privacy and identity
