Large number of devotees from far and wide are coming to the Vijayawada's Indrakeeladri hill, the abode of goddess Durga.The PRP MLA from the Vijayawada west constituency, Mr.Velampalli Srinivas today was denied entry into the temple by the police. Even though he purchased the VIP ticket he was told to wait for some time and was asked by the police to go through the regular route which might take hours to the darsan.The irate MLA lost his cool and did a dharna(agitation) at the entrance. Mr.Srinivas lamented that he has purchased the VIP ticket and he has every right to go and make the darshan. He claimed that he is being targeted because he belongs to the PRP. "I will meet the CM Rosaiah and lodge a complaint with him" asserted the MLA.However the police denied any wrongdoing and said it is just to prevent inconvenience to the public that they asked the MLA to go in the regular line. Even Purandhareswari who is the central minister has purchased the regular ticket yesterday and took the darshan of the godess durga the police said.Meanwhile people were heard commenting that the MLA shouldn't have made a big ruckus of the issue rather he should have waited patiently for his turn.
