Point state park, Mt. washington overlook, Duquesne incline, Heinz history center, Bicycle heaven (free  entry),  Cathedral of learning U Pitt, Carneige science center, some museums if kids are into them( natural history, aquarium, children's museum). 

there are some boat tours in the evening if you want to relax for a couple of hours on the river. There used to be a duck boat tour, no longer available.
