USA is fortifying it’s place as world’s super power and at the same time, there are other nations who also want to be a player in their own way…like China. 
 

South Korea, Japan, Philippines, Australia have US bases and it’s natural for China to feel threatened. Remember, nukes in Cuba has almost bought US to agreement table. Now Russia and China feel the same…Ukraine is just the sample. If US keeps sponsoring Ukraine, You will get to see many more such scenarios.
