Actually in 08' they all said the same thing... everyone was worried there was a shortage of homes. The supply glut didn't happen till after prices fell and all the over leveraged were forced into a fire sale. In 22' all the crap houses get bought by investors before they hit market at a steep discount. The market is just as big as it's always been. All the refis are stuck for 2 or 3 years. The system is designed to see only what it can count... if it's not counting what you think it's counting you get set up for a systemic imbalance that must crash to rectify.

Inflation has peaked, how the heck would a guy like him know?! And yes demand is slowing, home builders continue to build, people can't afford to buy as record prices and rates and maybe there is a chance of softening?! Sales guy or what?!
