Real estate growth if it’s on apartments was just 7% in last decade… if it’s on agricultural lands or individual plots land value appreciated if you invested a decade back… in the same time rupee lost its value by 30%. So if you bring back your investments you will see nominal profits and in some cases less than what you invested

Will ‘bring back’ when Bodi brings back dollar value to 40 rs.

Home loan interest rate in India is about 8-10% and annual apartment value growth rate is 3-7%. If you bought apartment with some home loan in the long run you end up paying more than what you get. Though your apartment value doubled, after a decade you won’t get double returns.
