ఒక సాధారణ దిగువ మధ్య తరగతి కుటుంబానికి చెందిన గార్గి(సాయి పల్లవి) స్కూల్ లో టీచర్ గా పని చేస్తుంటుంది. ఆమె తండ్రి బ్రహ్మానందం(ఆర్.ఎస్.శివాజీ) ఓ అపార్ట్‌మెంట్ లో వాచ్‌మెన్ గా పని చేస్తుంటాడు. అయితే ఆ అపార్ట్‌మెంట్ లో ఓ తొమ్మిదేళ్ల బాలికపై ఐదుగురు అత్యాచారం చేశారని, అందులో బ్రహ్మానందం కూడా ఒకడని పోలీసులు అరెస్ట్ చేస్తారు. దీంతో గార్గి జీవితం ఒక్కసారిగా తలకిందులైపోతుంది. నా అనుకున్న వాళ్ళు దూరమవుతారు. నిందితుల తరపున వాదించడానికి వీళ్ళేదంటూ యూనియన్ చెప్పడంతో లాయర్లు కూడా ఎవరూ ముందుకు రారు. అలాంటి సమయంలో అప్పటిదాకా ఒక్క కేసు కూడా వాదించని, సరిగా మాట్లాడలేని లాయర్ గిరీశం(కాళీ వెంకట్) ముందుకొస్తాడు. అతనితో కలిసి గార్గి న్యాయ పోరాటం ఎలా చేసింది? తన తండ్రిని ఈ కేసు నుంచి బయటకు తీసుకురాగలిగిందా? అసలు ఆ నలుగురితో పాటు పాపపై అత్యాచారం చేసిన ఐదో వ్యక్తి ఎవరు? అనేవి సినిమా చూసి తెలుసుకోవాలి.

రెగ్యులర్ మసాలా సినిమాలు ఇష్టపడేవారికి 'గార్గి' సినిమా నచ్చకపోవచ్చు. కానీ సహజత్వానికి దగ్గరగా ఉండే చిత్రాలు, ఎమోషనల్ డ్రామాలు ఇష్టపడే వారికి ఖచ్చితంగా నచ్చుతుంది. 9 ఏళ్ళ బాలికపై అత్యాచారం కేసులో అరెస్టయిన తండ్రి కోసం కూతురు సాగించే న్యాయం పోరాటం ఆకట్టుకుంటుంది. Movie got great reviews, but the title sounding like tamil movie and zero buzz means it'll be non starter in Telugu...
