Agreed. Religion and followers are two different things. But intiki vacchi prayers chesiii bussiness cheyadam only Hinduism lo ne chesthunna. Xtians go to church and pissfuls go to mosqueeeee. Do you know any religion which is so commercialized to a grassroot devoteee level? Institution level lo all are messed up and there is no debate about it.

Olden days lo brahmins/pujarlu bikshatana(Alms) chesevaru. They were doing service to god and did not have a proper source of income. So, evaraina puja/homam/karmakanda chesukunnapudu  vari financial status ki taggattu Brahmins ki money/food…etc danam icchevaru. But now a days both parties commercialize aypoyaru. 

Speaking of other religions, Xtianity lo as far as I know holy water/oil ani edo vastunnayi and conversion batch gurinchi cheppakarledu, vallu reverse lo janalaki money istaru. Ee madya Eesu suprabhatam, prasadam ani evo start chesaru. Vallu janalani  convert chestunnaro leka Esu ne Hinduism loki convert chestunnaro valake telidu. Pissfuls aithe peaks, ee madya Love jihad ani kotthaga start chesaru. (sorry about going off topic).

who had a proper source of income then ? rekkadithe gaani dokka aadehi kaadhu evvariki. do you know how hard it is to till a field ? in that age brahmins secured ghee, food, shelter using religious abracadabra without ANY work. Now they want software jobs, IAS officer jobs, cinema actors because this is where the benefits are.

I agree with you on above points but don’t blame religion for that.
