why gujjus didnt build a mumbai in gujrath tnen ? gujuus defenitely had a role in mumbai success but saying others didnt is nonsense.

There is a history to Mumbai state like Hyderabad  state, mumbai state had part of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karantaka and Goa as it’s province. After independence reorganization from Hyderabad state and other parts from Karnataka lead to full fledged Maharashtra state as of today. naturally there were gujju settlers because of Mumbai state, Gujjus  wanted Mumbai to be part of Gujarat  like ap and tn negotiated on chennai and Tirupathi at the time of ap state formation. Belgam dispute is from then, although it is part of Karnataka but majority inhibited by marathi speakers
