Depending on the state where he committed the crime, every state has it's waiting list bro. So idi PA lo ayindi kabatti he has to be on death row for PA state. If there are a lot of people ahead of him, he has to wait in line. Plus every criminal no matter how notorious he/she is gets to appeal atleast 2 times to the president for clemency(pardon). So he appealed that way and each time the appeal is sent, he is still on waiting list as he won't be confirmed to be on death row. 

Anduke ala delays avuthu untayi, there's a demand to speed up the justice process even in the US for the above reasons.

He has mental health issues. He told the judge just to execute him, he doesnt want to defend himself. But he got a prosecutor anyways. 

I am curious about a very old case (probably the first case of a telugu guy) where that telugu guy murdered his wife, cut her in to pieces and disposed in the garbage....that garbage people reported to police ...dont know what happened to him.... katnam case

He gave interview to ABN from jail through prison phone after conviction. He said Indian embassy not responding to his letters and vere prisoners food lakkoni kodthunnaru ani. He kept on saying there are others involved too.
 

Soon after that ABN deleted that video from YouTube.

Yeah adi o daridrapu strategy, to see if that will give him a clemency and extended time on his death row sentence. Evvadu ledu involvement akkada, FBI investigated this case. Telugu movies ekkuva choosi koose koothalu ivi.

Basically even amongst the worst prisons the ones that get treated the worst are usually those that are involved in murdering babies, pedophilia, child pornography etc. 

I hope this MC got his ass whooped on a daily basis.

There is no rule to execute people in order. Once they lost all opportunities gov can sign death warrant in any order. Currently PA has moratorium on death penalty, that is the reason for delay.
