Even in 2009 stock market went to new highs before crashing 

relief rally’s are common and usually the fall is over few months 

not like one day fall , that happened in 2020  March

with high interest rates , monthly payments will be mostly 50-60% of monthly salary depending on location and size of the home.

They say that around 30 % of monthly salary as mortgage payments are always safer.
