I feel good doing Pooja for new vehicles. For me, it's part of celebrating new vehicle.

doesn't matter...in the era of internet even if i want to do pooja you can get everything in youtube...most of the pooja at our home are performed through youtube instructions...when my wife tried to contact a temple long back for pooja they said its $500 or something...i said f it i will better donate it to charity and perform the same from youtube playlist

If you take god out of equation here, you are taking time to appreciate it. This will give us some sense of belonging to the vehicle. As @vaampire mentioned it’s also celebrating your ride. Paid off ayina , loan ayina.. you had the privilege of enjoying a vehicle. That’s how I feel. Nenu nammetodini kaadu, these small things bring little happiness, diversion from regular life anipisthadhi.

i don't get it somehow...the 1st thing i do when i get a new vehicle is put a small scratch some where on the bottom panel and get done with worrying about other people denting my vehicle..brahmi-funny.gif

instead of superstition, it can be seen as a celebration bro...it's kind of respecting (taking care of) your tool and knowing it's worth...
