Hello Friends,

This posting is in regards to a Charity 5k run/walk being organized by “Asha-Jyothi”, ( http://asha-jyothi.org/ashajyothi/home/) a volunteer based 501 © non-profit organization formed by a group of friends            and is based out of Virginia.

The major objective of Asha-Jyothi is to provide education and health care programs for the underprivileged people of Indian origin.

AJ is a growing organization and we are organizing various events to raise funds and generate awareness in the community. As an initial step towards this direction, we have planned a 5K Run/Walk (1k for kids) on September 26th,2009 in Fairfax, VA. 

Our goal is not only to promote AJ but also to encourage healthy lifestyle.  I strongly urge you to register and participate in the event. Also, please take time to forward this email to your friends and family.
