I did not like the movie. It’s not making any sense … cheating screenplay 😂 unnecessary scenes. Worst movie 

bimbisara and karthikeya 2 concept is same...

COVID ki mandu mana ancestors kanukkunte ela untundi ane theme tho develop chesaru. bimbisara used time travel & action while k2 followed religion & adventure for screenplay.

both films have extremely weak villains & namesake heroines. both films depict modern technology in ancient times. there is a priest/tantrik guiding the villains in both films. the ending of both films give hints to sequels. there are too many similarities between them.

నిఖిల్ సిద్ధార్థ్ హీరోగా చందూ మొండేటి దర్శకత్వంలో రూపొందిన 'కార్తికేయ' 2014లో విడుదలై ఘన విజయాన్ని అందుకుంది. అప్పుడు ఈ చిత్రం ప్రేక్షకులకు కొత్త అనుభూతినిచ్చింది. దాదాపు 8 ఏళ్ళ తర్వాత ఇప్పుడు వీరి కాంబినేషన్ లో రూపొందిన 'కార్తికేయ-2' ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకొచ్చింది. 'కార్తికేయ'కు సీక్వెల్ కావడంతో పాటు టీజర్, ట్రైలర్స్ ఆకట్టుకోవడంతో 'కార్తికేయ-2'పై మంచి అంచనాలే ఏర్పడ్డాయి. మరి 'కార్తికేయ-2' ఆ అంచనాలను అందుకుందా? కార్తికేయగా నిఖిల్ అలరించి మరో విజయాన్ని తన ఖాతాలో వేసుకోనున్నాడా? అనేది రివ్యూలో చూద్దాం.

కథ:
కలియుగం ప్రారంభం కావడానికి ముందు, ద్వాపర యుగం ముగింపు సమయంలో శ్రీకృష్ణుడి కాలి కడియం ఓ రహస్య ప్రదేశంలో ఉంచబడుతుంది. భవిష్యత్ లో మానవాళికి వచ్చే ముప్పుల నుంచి రక్షించే శక్తి అందులో ఉంటుంది. దానిని దక్కించుకోవడం కోసం వేల ఏళ్ళ నుంచి ఎందరో ప్రయత్నించి విఫలమవుతుంటారు. ఆ కడియం ఉన్న ప్రదేశాన్ని చేరుకోవాలంటే ఎన్నో రహస్యాలను ఛేదించాలి, ఎన్నో విపత్కర పరిస్థితులను దాటాలి. ఇప్పటికీ ఆ కడియం కోసం కొందరు అన్వేషణ సాగిస్తూనే ఉంటారు. అయితే సమాధానాలు తెలియని ప్రశ్నలకు ఛేదించడం, కొత్త విషయాలను తెలుసుకోవాలనే ఆసక్తి ఉన్న డాక్టర్ కార్తికేయ(నిఖిల్).. తనకోసం తల్లి మొక్కిన మొక్కు తీర్చడానికి అయిష్టంగానే ద్వారకకి వెళ్తాడు. అక్కడికి వెళ్ళాక నిఖిల్ కి ఊహించని సంఘటనలు ఎదురవుతాయి. కొందరు కార్తికేయను అంతమొందించే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తారు. అసలు కృష్ణుడి కాలి కడియానికి, కార్తికేయకి సంబంధమేంటి? కార్తికేయను ఎవరు, ఎందుకు చంపాలనుకుంటున్నారు? అయిష్టంగా ద్వారకకి వెళ్లిన కార్తికేయ ప్రయాణం ఆ తర్వాత ఎలాంటి మలుపులు తిరిగింది? ఈ ప్రయాణంలో అతను తెలుసుకున్న, ఛేదించిన విషయాలేంటి? తెలియాలంటే సినిమా చూడాల్సిందే.

గత వారం విడుదలైన 'బింబిసార', 'సీతా రామం' సినిమాలు విజయాలను అందుకొని టాలీవుడ్ లో కొత్త ఉత్సాహాన్ని నింపాయి. ఇప్పుడు 'కార్తికేయ-2' రూపంలో మరో విజయం వచ్చినట్లే అని చెప్పొచ్చు. థియేటర్స్ కి వచ్చిన ప్రేక్షకులను నిరాశపరచకుండా కథాకథనాలు, విజువల్ పరంగా మంచి థ్రిల్లింగ్ అనుభూతినిచ్చే సినిమా 'కార్తికేయ-2'. watched yesterday, average movie.. emo untadi ankunna story.. nothing extraordinary, just average

I thought Story wise....Karthikeya 1 was more gripping than Karthikeya 2.

Anupam Kher gaadu....over acting chesinatu anpichindi....
