A substantial percentage of applications from Punjab students who wish to study abroad are being rejected. According to a report in Dainik Bhaskar, the significant grounds for this include fraudulent bank statements and birth certificates, fake paperwork regarding the schooling gap, and the mistrust of foreign officials.

In 2020–21, the Australian Department of Home Affairs uncovered over 600 cases involving Punjab and Haryana in which forged documents were used to obtain education visas to Australia.

The Canadian High Commission uncovers more than 2,500 of these cases annually, at the same time. Similar incidents have been reported by the US, UK, and New Zealand embassies.

The visa refusal rate in Canada has climbed to 41%. It was 15% before COVID. Another reason for such a high rejection rate is pending applications for two years due to COVID.

According to the recent report of the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration, 225,402 study visa applications were processed in 2021, with 91,439 of them being rejected. This means that roughly 41% of the applications were denied.

In many cases, the visa officer suspects you're arriving under the pretext of studying. Students from India, including business and non-medical students, apply for visas to Canada for simple courses such as caregivers, salon management diplomas, and culinary craft certificates, among others.

This increases the visa officer's suspicions. He asks additional questions, and a visa is not issued unless a satisfactory response is given.

Fake documents are made to cover the time between reapplying and quitting your studies. Certificates indicating experience have also been found to be forged. At the same time, inaccuracies have been made and discovered, ranging from birth certificates to passports.

Part and parcel of higher education business. It's Ok, scrutinize more If you want to control the input, liberal if you want more. At the end, it's just a BUJINESSSS.
