You are comparing consumer goods with beliefs… if someone can make you strongly believe into something or someone, you will be a slave and do what they say..

ఎడాపెడా డబ్బులు సంపాదించేయాలన్న ఆశ ఓ భర్తను దారుణానికి పురికొల్పింది. కట్టుకున్న భార్యను అందరి ముందు నగ్నంగా నిలబెట్టి స్నానం చేయించాడు. మహారాష్ట్రలోని పూణె జిల్లాలో జరిగిందీ ఘటన. వ్యాపారంలో లాభాలు రావాలన్నా, ఇంట్లో సుఖశాంతులు నెలకొనాలన్నా క్షుద్రపూజలు చేయాలని ఓ మాంత్రికుడు చెప్పాడు. అందులో భాగంగా భార్యను అందరి ముందు నగ్నంగా స్నానం చేయిస్తే ఇక తిరుగే లేదని నమ్మబలికాడు. 

డబ్బు మోజుతో అతడు అందుకు సరేనన్నాడు. దీనికి అతడి తల్లిదండ్రులు కూడా సహకరించారు. పూజల అనంతరం అతడు తన భార్యను అందరి ముందు నిలబెట్టి నగ్నంగా స్నానం చేయించాడు. చుట్టూ ఉన్నవారు సినిమా చూశారే తప్ప ఒక్కరంటే ఒక్కరు కూడా అడ్డుకునే ప్రయత్నం చేయలేదు. ఆ తర్వాత బాధితురాలు ఇచ్చిన ఫిర్యాదుతో కేసు నమోదు చేసుకున్న పోలీసులు నిందితుడిని, అతడి తల్లిదండ్రులను అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నారు. పరారీలో ఉన్న మాంత్రికుడి కోసం గాలిస్తున్నారు.
