I don't get this.. 

People who are not confident that they will win will easily write 50 lakhs(highest amount) , just so, he/she can be saved for one more week .. As Revanth is well known outside, I don't think any body is expecting to win, they all are probably expecting top 5, but not winner.. 

So, what is the catch ??

Exactly, I don't get it, why would anyone write less than 50 lakhs except Revanth or couple of them who may be thinking they will win.

Unless Bigg Boss is going to try to analyze the amount written and play some psychological games, based on who wrote what amount.
