This is what i saw in cricinfo and icc website Final tournament In each group stage (both the preliminary round and the Super 12 round), teams are ranked against each other based on the following criteria: Higher number of points If equal, higher number of wins If still equal, higher net run rate If still equal, lower bowling strike rate If still equal, result of head-to-head meeting. No buddy even you can see while on Air commentators talking about NRR, even if team is losing with good enough margin.. NRR will be counted first, then Wins.
