making a high budget movie is to be able to cater to the lowest common denominator.

it takes a lot of compromises to be able to make them, especially if you are a talented movie maker.

so i wouldn't call it lack of talent if Nag Ashwin doesn't succeed in making a good movie. Its simply down to a few wrong choices.
