canny surya Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 @3$% @3$% @3$% @3$%Unconventional genius, Ram Gopal Varma knows better ways in promoting his movies without spending a single paisa. The maverick director is always in the news prior to the release of his flicks, that too in the form of controversies. To RGV, Getting free publicity is like eating food everyday. Freshly, he created such sort of controversy again and is pouring petrol in it to add more spice to the issue. Many Hindu outfits are venting their anger against RGV for quoting un-existing quotes from ‘Mahabharatham’. Actually, there is no such slogan like ‘Pratheekaramey Parama Sopaanam’ in the epic of Pandavas and Kauravas. Despite the missing authenticity, Censor Board has given a clean chit to the film in using that caption. This angered some serious Hindu organizations, who feel that the film’s caption is insulting both Mahabharata and Hinduism. However, one word from the maverick director will cool the fire down. But the genius director is staying tightlipped about the issue, which is adding some more petrol to the burning fire. Industry folks say that all these ‘mouna vratams’ by RGV are part of his free publicity gimmicks.
