Keller ISD is good.. but check that specific school ratings on niche and schooldigger.. don’t go by great schools.. 

DR Horton is an average builder.. not bad, not great.. recently, home build quality has been bad for all builders.. everyone is a cheapie.. 

property taxes in that area are about 0.5% more compared to other areas in North dfw.. that will add $100 to your monthly property taxes..

New homes @200/sft is a good price.. if you like the area and close to work, go for it..

Also calculate your home expenses properly… include HOA, property taxes, home warranty, utilities and home insurance to your mortgage.. many people know (or miscalculate) of these additional expenses only after moving in..
