Market prices in things lot before you realize ...keep in mind stocks rebound way before recession ends . If you keep waiting for that gdp numbers, you will miss runs .

Time in market , discipline in investing beats timing the market ..

All average joes like us will be millionaires if timing is that simple

Padinappudu alla konadam koods ledhu.my investments are automated . Every 3rd Friday,  scheduled to buy some VTI

Try to maximize HSA if it is offered by your  employer . It is a very good vehicle of investment . If you are planning to stay in US for retirement , it is the best ..

If wife is working,  you can add 6k each to roth . They may have made it 6500 this year .

Please note you are eligible to add to roth , only if you are within income limits. Otherwise you may have to do backdoor roth process. 

If you are in high income categories,  mega backdoor roth ira is another process if you have lot of money to convert to roth .
