Alameda County lo 1.1 etc 

Unless you go newer communities tracy hills , river islands etc where u have melarooos it comes to 1.7

If you take a 30 years loan (at 5% interest rate), over the period of 30 years you will pay the total home cost as property tax (3% x30 =90%)… total home cost as interest… and you pay the total principal too after the loan term ends.. 

Finally, the total cost of owning a home for 30 years will be nearly 3 times the purchase price.. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
