Should we go to same VAC for consular appointment that we submitted documents as part of dropbox if we get a 221G later?

I submitted my documents in Bangalore dropbox when I visited two years back. I remember getting a blue slip  asking me to come for consular appointment in Chennai.

My H1 visa  expired in 2015..and my last I-797 expired on Dec 2017...Now i have filed for a new H1 ..If i get the new H1 am i eligible for drop-box ??

I meant if we get a 221g after dropping  documents at a particular VAC(lets say delhi) do we need to embassy in delhi for consular appointment? Or i can go anywhere?

I remember the embassy location in printed in blue slip we get

Whichever embassy issued that slip / which embassy your passport was sent for stamping.

So if I drop my documents in VAC in Delhi would the documents be sent to Delhi embassy? And henceforth i would get a 221g from delhi embassy. Is this correct?
