Yes you are correct. There are no jobs in rural part of CA, NY, Maryland since the state mandated wages are higher. They are dying due to poverty.
 

 I pity this nonsense. Market dictates wages after a certain threshold. But basic minimum wage should correspond to cost of living. I call this as exploitation of labor and it’s a human right issue to have 7$ per hour in cities like Dallas and Austin.
