Nearly impossible to find out, unless they give company laptop and check login time. Quote

American is "at-will" in private sector. It is not illegal - it means, unless you explicitly sign something saying you won't work for other companies (it has to be explicitly specified - say other financial company), then they can file a case. But you doing 2 or 3 jobs is absolutely legal as long as you didn't violate any terms that you signed. Quote
