ibonds last week 2 konna, account lo I can see the reciept and all but do we get any physical copy or some kind of certificate or something which lists the details? Also, the time period, claim process all? please throw some lite

i tried creating treasury account it says cannot verify your details and asked for to fill some form and notarize it.

is it same for all? not sure what did i miss?

I have done it in July 2022. it was straight forward but my friends who had done in Aug/sep. it asks extra documentation and verification. It took 15 days to complete and activate it

Many are in that situation. Mostly..Ppl who moved to new addresses are getting that.

You need to fill the form, get it notarized and mail/fax them.

What i heard is dependin the bank you are sourcing from ,

ex: I chose chase bank as source I got the verification request to fill d form and notorzie 

but when on the same day friend sourced thru some other banks i guess BOFA bank and he didint ,

eithr way , from nov1st there wll be a upcmong new rates revision could be same or new, have the documentation nortorize and send dm, it vl take 3-4 weeks for them to activate ur account

Then you are stuck, happened to me too. I think if we moved recently and give new address the third party can’t verify. Banks we’re notarizing last year but not anymore. I heard brokerages like fidelity will do it but I didn’t try.

No bank is notarizing it, that’s the problem

No physical copy I think.

You cannot withdraw until 1 year. If you withdraw within 5 years you will lose interest of last 3 months. 
 

interest rates change every 6 months. Next change in october. Your intital rate stays for 6 months which is 9.62% currently. After 6 months new interest rate will takeover.
