H1b stamping with approved extesion

Hello,

Hoping someone can help clarify please.

If we go for stamping when extended I 797 has not yet started and still have 4 months left in current 797, which 797 data should be provided in dS 160? And until what date will the stamping be given? Current - which ends in 4 months or extended - which ends in 3 yrs 4 months?

Submit both. Usually it is based on the most latest approved petetion.

Once you got the slot and visa slot date is 1~2 weeks away then you can give whichever is latest i 797  and fill the DS 160 same time(1~2 weeks)
