There seems to extreme risk aversion among international investors regarding Chinese stocks. 

Perhaps they are fearing china will invade taiwan or Chinese govt will crackdown on tech companies even harder. 

For context Chinese GDP was less than 1 tril $ in 1997 , now it's close to 20 tril $

I can say Top 10 companies on S&P 500. If S&P 500 index falls, the world falls. Prove me wrong otherwise

Long Term in an S&P 500 Index fund (because executive committee rebalance 4 times an year to make sure the right companies are in there) or total stock market index funds as it represents the entire market yield an average of 10% per year on an average.. and that 10% compounded over years will make you build wealth  .. As you know US market never yielded negative after SEC was founded

                       $10 investment in Titan in 1999 would have come $2500 today
