can we apply for OCI for kid or do we need to wait until h 4 approval?

Oci ki H1 tho sambandham enti ? 
they just need both parents  Indian passport copies and atleast 1 parent’s legal US Status !

I think they ask for valid visa/I-797 status I guess as one of the docs if I remember it correctly..

If its just 1 parent then I think I will be good , was not sure so asking

You need both the parents legal status. When I applied for my son, I uploaded only mine. They asked for mother as well.

I-797 is status.. not visa.. valid visa is not required.

We have approved H4. So we submitted that. Not sure if notice will suffice.
