I think article misleading… probably they are disputing transactions after use

Now I get it. Dispute is the only way merchant loses money after using their service. Here transaction gets reversed. Merchant ki bokka.. bank ki Em poyedi ledu… aa transaction chesina students money kuda back. E process rinse and repeat.. merchant gadu bakara

I dont think it works like that. bank cannot reverse transaction without merchants authorization unless they r fraud.

I think they kept on authorizing and found out very late what’s going on. Just my assumption
