One of the parents need to leave early from work and pickup the kid(s), lekapothe extended day care or neighbors( not a viable option)

After care… karate best brains or some thing local vuntayu… they pick up kids from school and help with home work and keep them buys until you pick up in the evening….

i have seen kids suffering becoz both are workingkids wont eat day care food...challa badha ga utundi when kids return theor lunch box

Yeah that is my main concern . They eat atleast half lunch . And we feed them when they come back home at 3:00

Few kanjoose working couple both earn but donot want to spend money on kids but expectations are high — they need someone to take care after their kids for free or for peanuts — expect kids to learn but not investing in their growth — cheap mentality —

Some are like that .
 

 but looking for ideas people who handled this situation before COVID . don’t want kids to stay in extended day care for long 
 

is part time nanny better option or extended day care . That’s what I am trying to debate with myself .

Dont take me wrong. Covid time made everyone lazy(including myself).

Pre-covid, i used to drop kid by 8, park car at home and then take fb shuttle. Very organized.

same thing with gym. Lost the pattern
