Its a different technology altogether in samsung. Its not an organic light emitting diode unlike LG. Its a quantum dot light emitting diode. There is a lot of difference.

Ee Oled TV ayina panel is from LG because nobody else manufacturers or have patents/license over large Oled panels, LG lucked out on Kodak acquisition which has the research and patents to manufacture Oled panels.

Samsung and Sony produces OLED TVs - using panels produced by LG Display

It depends on how bright your room is, OLED's shine in dark rooms as the panels wont get bright enough. If you have a room with windows and gets bright during your tv watching time, check Samsung Neo QLED QN90B. Samsung has ambient light rejection layer and the display gets up to peak 1900 nits brightness.

OLED's have deep blacks and better contrast and support Dolby vision and Samsung does not support DV but has HRD10+ which is equivalent to DV.

OLED has burn in issue, may be that is addressed in the more recent panels. If you plan to go with OLED check LG C or G models. If you plan to go with Samsung, there are discounts on their website for first responders or EPP discounts. Usually new models come out in Feb/March of the year So discounts on the existing models will start from end of November to Jan.

Good luck with your purchase.

As mentioned earlier Sony also uses LG panels but they have their proprietary technology to power up the pixels which in some cases better than LG. LG uses Web OS and Sony uses android TV interface.

https://www.rtings.com does in-depth reviews and comparisons between various models.
