Popular Post dasari4kntr Posted November 9, 2022 Popular Post Report Posted November 9, 2022 దీనిని ధియేటర్ లో కాకుండా OTT లో చూడడం కోసం నేను ఎదురు చూడడం మంచిదైయింది. ఇంత పెద్ద కధా, కధనం, పాత్రలు ఉన్న సినిమా ని ధియేటర్ లో హడావిడిగా 2 గంటల 45 నిమిషాల్లో చూసేసి అర్దంచేసుకోవడం చాలా కష్టం. దీన్ని నాకు అర్దం చేసుకుంటూ OTT లో చూడడానికి నాకు నాలుగు గంటలు పట్టింది కానీ ఫలితం అమోఘం గొప్ప కధనిసినిమాగా చూసిన అనుభూతి. ఈ సినిమా చూసాక దీని కధామూలం అయిన పుస్తకాలని చదవాలనే కోరిక బలంగారెట్టింపు అయ్యింది. కధలో యుద్ధాలు ఉన్నా వాటి ప్రాముఖ్యం తక్కువే…ఈ కధలో రాజులు, రాజకీయాలు, వేగులు, గుడాచారులు, అప్పటి మతాలు, సాంఘీక జీవనవిధానాలు వంటి వాటికి ప్రముఖ పాత్ర…కాబట్టి యుద్ధ సన్నివేసాళ్ళో గ్రాఫిక్స్ ఉన్నా లేకున్నా పెద్ద తేడా లేదు. ఈ కధలో హీరోలు విలన్లు లేరు కేవలం పాత్రలు ఉన్నాయి కాబట్టి హీరో విలన్ ఎలివేషన్స్ కి చోటేలేదు. కధని కధ లాగా చూసే సినిమా ఇది.. మన తెలుగులో “డ” అనే ఉచ్చారణ ఎంత విరివిగా వస్తుందో…తమిలోల్లకి “ళ” అనే ఉచ్చారణ అంత ఎక్కువగాఉంటుంది…అందులోనూ ఇవి పాతకాలం పేర్లు కావడం వళ్ళ మరింత క్లిష్టం…సినిమా మొదట 15 నిమిషాలు కీలకం ఈ పేర్లు ప్రాంతాలు అర్దం కావడానికి…అంతేకాదు కొంత చరిత్ర తెలసుండటం కూడా మంచిదే….ఉదాహరణకి సినిమాలోఆదిత్య కరికాలన్ తో యుద్ధం చేసిన/చేయాల్సిన శతృవులు పాండ్యులు, రాష్ట్రకూటులు, చాళుక్యులు, కళింగులు…వగైరావగైరా ఇంకా అరుళ్మోళీ యుద్ధం చేసిన సింహళులు…. ఇంత చరిత్ర ఉంది…ఇదేకాకుండా ఆనాటి సామాజిక మతపరమైన అంశాలైన శైవం, వైష్ణం, అద్వైతం, బౌద్దం వ్యాప్తి గురించి చూపిస్తూనే..సామాన్య ప్రజల జీవన విధానంచూపించారు.. పడవ నడిపే అమ్మాయి, నందిని (చిన్నపుడు), నంబి వంటి వాళ్ళ పాత్రల్లో… ఇంత రీసర్చ్ చేసి సినిమా చూడాలా? అని అనిపించవచ్చు…అలా అనిపించింది అంటే GOT, lord of the rings, harry potter కి కూడా అదే ప్రశ్న వస్తుంది…ఈ సినిమా కొంతలో కొంత మేలు మన చరిత్ర మనకి దగ్గరగా ఉన్న చరిత్ర…కేవలంకొన్ని పాత్రలు మాత్రమే కల్పితం… చాలా మంది ఈ DB లో మణిరత్నం దర్శకత్వాన్ని విమర్శించారు…కానీ నాకు బాగా నచ్చింది…he has unique style of cinematography…costumes కూడా బాగున్నాయి…అందరు కూడా బాగా నటించారు…వాళ్ళ పాత్రలే కనిపించాయివాళ్ళు కాదు…ప్రతి ఒక్కరి పాత్రకి సమాన ప్రాముఖ్యం ఉంది…ఇలాంటి పాత్రలని రాసిన కల్కి గారు ఖచ్చితంగాఅభినందనీయులు… కేవలం నేను చేసే ఒకే ఒక విమర్శ ఏంటంటే సినిమా మొదటి 15 నిమిషాలు ఆ భాషాసాంస్కృతిక గందరగోళాన్ని కొంతమెరుగ్గా తీసివుండాల్సింది…సినిమా నిడివి ఎక్కువైనా కొంత సమయం తీసుకుని వివరించాల్సింది…మదట్లో చిరంజీవికొన్ని వివరాలు చెప్పినా అవి సరిపోలేదు… tagging few ids on this topic…who discussed with me about this movie in other threads… @Raven_Rayes @hunkyfunky2 @Beerboob123 @gothamprince 4 Quote

They acted as if "if you don't know our pride of tamilnadu - this novel written by someone in 1950s then its your fault". Their reviewers/social media junkies literally demanded unanimous positive reviews and housefuls all of india. Then they started abusing every one else. They didn't care to introduce the characters upfront - they tried to do that in trailer. That trailer is worse piece of in indian history - especially after SSR shown how to introduce the characters and prepare the audience _before_ he steps in - even for wafer thin story his movie has. 2 Quote
