American FD 3.5% is greater than Indian FD 7% as rupee will keep depreciating more against dollar.

generally if american interest rate is low people take loan here with low interest rate and invest in foreign bind or money markets for high interest rates….this is called currency carry trade…this is one of the way other countries like india can increase their foreign reserves..

but if american interest rates are high who will invest in India?
