I am an existing user but I signed up and created new account with wife's name. 
Once I created an account and signed up for that promo I got an email saying my original account will be canceled today.
I called xfinity using my wife's phone to activate the acct and switch over my cable modem. I just told them previous tenant left their modem n asked them to activate it on my acct which they did.

while creating new account go through this referral to get $150 gift card which covers around 3 months of service.

Price is fine but connection and drop outs and speed is main issue customer service is horrible. Not just my word. Many reports.

I have been with verizon for last 5 yrs. 35 per month for 200 speed. Fiber and upload to download is always same speed. And I get around 290 both ways. More than enough for a typical user unless you are doing lot of YouTube uploads and live streaming your content.

I have been with verizon for last 5 yrs. 35 per month for 200 speed. Fiber and upload to download is always same speed. And I get around 290 both ways. More than enough for a typical user unless you are doing lot of YouTube uploads and live streaming your content. 

Depends on region emo, nj lo never had issues.

agree on upload speed part. connection issues are very rare for me. we don't have fiber in our community yet so less options
