Naidu Tastes Counter Protests Near Polavaram

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu who is currently touring the districts as part of the party’s protest tasted a counter protest on Thursday. 

The TDP leaders are holding roadshows, rallies and public meetings in the name of Badude Badudu on price rise and Idem Kharma on Jagan’s governance. 

When Chandrababu Naidu held the programme in the West Godavari district, he saw counter protests in support of the ruling YSR Congress. 

The supporters of the YSR Congress held placards saying that Chandrababu Naidu is the ill fate of the state. 

The placards also said that Andhra Pradesh should be freed from corrupt and conspiracy politics of Chandrababu Naidu. 

While the TDP chief gave a slogan of “Defeat Jagan, Save AP,” the ruling party supporters took up placards with the slogan of “Defeat Naidu, Save AP.”

Irked at these counter protests, Chandrababu Naidu tried to shift the attention of the people by moving towards Polavaram Project site for inspection. 

The alert police stopped the TDP chief stating that he had no permission to visit the project site.

Taking advantage of the police denying him permission, Chandrababu Naidu squatted on the road raising slogans against the state government and Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. 

The yellow party and the yellow media took this protest to grab the attention of the people. 

It is to be seen how Chandrababu Naidu would use this situation to turn it in his favour!
