Hotel- Kanapali beach hotel in Lahaina - 4200 / 6 days including tax etc. Rental car- BMW x3- SiXT rental- 450$ Day 1- Break fast at hotel restaurant - Hui Hui - $25 per person . visited front street in Lahaina down town- Public parking free for 3 hours - Visited banyan tree, had shaved ice from Ululanis Hawaiian Shave Ice. Day 2- Sea Maui whale watch- 2 hour boat ride with whale watch and drinks like Maitai , beer, champange etc. 80$ per person. Day 3- Resort day- Chilled around pool and beach etc. Near by shopping complex called Whaler village. Day 4 - ROad to Hana- Started around 7 AM- came back by 430PM. Visited twin falls, black sand beach, pipiwai trail etc. Day 5- Haleakela crater sunrise morning, Visited Wailea shopping complex . Visited few places in Kihei WI.Lunch at Monkey pod in Kihei $70 total. Dinner at resort $120 total. Day 6- Check out, some cultural ritual, drove around central maui as flight is at night, had lunch at Food trucks behind costco, pizza at Whole foods before taking flight. Observations: Each meal $20-30 per per person no matter where you eat. If can be $50-100 if you eat at high end places. We bought few fruits from Times super market- Papaya was tasty. Replaced few meals with fruits. Total trip cost: 850$ flights 4200$ hotel resort 450$ Car rental Car parking at local airport $100 $5600 total Food another $1000 If you book airBnB you mighght save some 1500-2000 but being on beach sitting and watching waves and ppl etc is worth it as we don't go there often 2 1 Quote
