Below is the notes from JBourne

stay in ROMA or Condesa neighbourhood. 
those are european influenced neighborhoods, posh and safe ga vuntayi. 
I stayed in hostel at downtown, if you choose to stay in downtown, you can. 

Lucha Libre mexico valla WWE its very fun (I paid the hostel ppl so they organised going there, its cheap to go by yourself too oka 100-200 pesos atu itu)

 xochimilco ani venice type islands and boat ride vuntadi, same hostel poragallatoh poina, you can ask your colleague to help you going there and with local market near xochimilco. 

Teotihuacan -- idi aztec ruins and pyramids one day trip. 

Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe-- idi kuda same day as teotihuacan cover cheyochu. 

 

public transport was easy, I took uber and metro too. 
frida kahlo museum vuntadii I missed it but, you can go with it. 
Airbnb experiences vuntayii anudulo search karo, 
also I went with strawberry tours 

in the below link I would strongly suggest taco tour and historical downtown tour, rest is nee opika. 

those are free tours and at the end of the tour you tip the guide based on your satisfaction, I used to tip 150-200 (solo cheap foor traveler from canada em chestam uncle)

also we did another 1 day trip to Puebla. Beautiful city 2 hours drive by Tour bus.
