I applied for passport renewal (regular) On November 1st week . And since Nov 7th , the status is same : Your application has reached at the Embassy/Consulate and is currently under review process.

I tried contacting VFS Global Service, Indian Embassy But no luck. I also contacted Police department to see if my application is pending for verification, They have no application waiting for verification.

Any help  on how to either accurately track or escalate the processing?

Mostly it got stuck at poooleece inquiry at your hometown. Once contact the PS you have given in your application

Was there any change of address in India? 
Mine got stuck as there was change of address..

On the tracking page, if you go to Browser's Debug options, you can see some trackrequest api response and the details about which steps were completed in the processing.

 I tried dude.. They were not helpful, The response is they dont have any pending applications. When I asked if you have got my application, they have no clue

Indian address on old passport- Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh

In new passport renewal application- Hyderabad, Telangana.

Do we still need to submit address proof for this change?

any experiences?
