H1 amendment also need h4?

H1 amendment ayindi.. instead of old h1 dates, got the dates like it got extended for another 3 years. So two questions

1. Does amendment is also considered as extension (applied with i140)?

2. H4 kuda tag cheyala amendment apudu? Since h4 visa validity is behind new h1 dates 

planning for india travel.. we got valid visas based on old h1. so wondering are there any issues?

No issues , India nundi return appudu you can request cbp to give i94 dates for h4 based on your new h1 dates and apply for ead with that i94 , or you can do regular h4 and h4 ead

thank you. Already applied for h4 ead based on new h1b. didn't get it yet.. curious em dates istadu ani (probably tied to h4 visa expiry)

It happened to me.. Your employer/attorney applied for amendment+extension.

And, they didn't include/request h4 ext. So, Either you need to file for h4 ext or get the H4s stamped in India.

This may be right.. if H4 has valid visa, the GBP officer may extend i94 for h4s. (This way you can avoid stamping in India) (This I have never tried)

planning on filing h4 ext once i am back.. h4 have valid visa to travel, will notify officer with new dates

This is right. naku same happened recently in november. 

Also, h4 visa kotha h1 details toh ichadu. CBP will automatically update i94 based on it. return ochaka h4 ext cheskovachu.
