Bro, if you actually believe in vaastu, then you can try consulting your astologer/spiritual guru or a pujari in temple to guide you regarding you and your spouse horoscopes and house to be bought.

As other posters also pointed sometimes it could be the, main entrance could face other direction as house itself faces somewhere else. you might need to check the rest of master bedroom, kitchen placements in the same.

if you don't believe in vaastu then you can look into other things as size of the house/lot, natural light into rooms and go on with your work as normal.

It all depends on how well you get sunlight inside the house. South facing houses get  least amount  of sun light the house . Where as north facing house will get plenty of sunlight all day.

 

East facing house mrng sunlight will fall into the house from front door to through out the house depending on the windows and house structure. West side facing will get mrng sunlight from yard side.

Ok bro. Ya, I saw some south facing homes with mango leaves out side the door in the community . Looks like some desi's are living there.
