South facing in US has more sunlight….

India lo east facing logic workout avtundi….

US lo east is not a good idea…

Also Sun always rises in east in Asia…

kaani North America lo sun doesnot rise always in the east.

As other posters also pointed sometimes it could be the, main entrance could face other direction as house itself faces somewhere else. you might need to check the rest of master bedroom, kitchen placements in the same.

if you don't believe in vaastu then you can look into other things as size of the house/lot, natural light into rooms and go on with your work as normal.
