i can give you a better configuration for 3.1 under 1200.

that is total $1322+ tax

add another B1+ pair $200 for surround.   so total $1465+ tax ki you get 5.1 . after few weeks of research I settled with this configuration. It is awesome.

Another $150 for cables ,banana plugs ,wire cutter and wall mounts for back surround.

 

future lo you can add two more speakers for 7.1 for atmos effect. if budget is a constraint start with 3.1 and slowly move to 5.1 and then 7.1 and then to 7.2 in your home theatre.
