But if companies like Amazon Apple,  Google starts develeopment centers just one ,crowd will automatically move kada bro, vizag is best place little cosmopolitan,  beach town, beautiful , it has all Hangulu to become software development hub

But Jagga is there no? He demands commissions and do all sorts of fingering. Thats the thing MNCs hate the most. They will simply walk away. Moreover its just application stage. Yesu and Gang demands kick backs for sure. Also given the feedback from existing companies, AMZ will back out.

CMC ane oka company vundeedhi, Fingerprint processing, Image Recognition software cheeseevaallu 1990s lo. That company was acquired by TCS later. Satyam was started in 1980s in the same laid back city.

This is not entirely True, main reason for this Govt not supporting Vizag like its supposed to, i'm from Vizag and i know many people who worked in vizag. if you take example of Tech Mahindra, they offer 1.4 lakhs to fresher compared to 3.5 to 4 lakkhs in regular cities. if you show such disparity how will you attract Talent. Vizag is not a backward city, it has high cost of Living.

Vizag companies anni atu itu teesukelli pote vizag lo companies ee raavu... moodu nalugu sari aiynavi vaste kani salaries on par undavu.. TechM Lkoduku monopoly  vizag lo.

HSBC was mainly call center with limited Software , they  had many issues and one of my classmate was also in Software dev management role. He told the pay they offer for SW is not attractive to bring anyone from major cities.

 

Now post Covid, if Govt gives a push, Vizag IT will develop faster, Uttarandhra moodu jillalu, East Godavari janalaku, Orissa lo border districts ki Vizag is center for health, education and many other things.

Unfortunately neither TDP nor YCP gives any push for Vizag.

2018 end lo i was in Vizag during christmas season, went to meet a friend working in TechM , he told Govt hurriedly  leased the emtpy TechM building and moved all small companies working our Apartments and stuff and brought our IT minister Lokesh to inaugurate the facility. They offered office space cheaper than what these companies are paying in apartments.

if they did this in 2014 instead of pushing people to Vijayawada or Amaravati, may be Vizag could have attracted few more companies.
