Yes u have to recheck in the bags after customs done.

make sure you check regarding the bags United airlines. Na munde okalu 88k INR kataru domestic flights lo same baggage allow cheyyadaniki

and United lo only 1 checkin bag allowed....not 2 like other airlines. So not worth it

Code share flights unte you don’t need to handle luggage yourself in Delhi if you booked the flight all the way from Hyd to Ord.

American carriers service is not that great when compared to middle eastern carriers like Qatar, Emirates. But United is not that bad tbh. Price difference anta lekapote go with non-American carriers.

Air India only - $1400 one way

air India-united $800 one way

united.com lo air india plus united chupistunadu kada from hyd to ord so you can check in luggage at hyd and pick up in ord. My parents did this in 2021 and had no issue. They didn’t checkin luggage in Delhi again.

US nunchi hyd aithe different story. You’d need to pass through customs at Delhi and re-checkin for domestic connection.
